Illegal sale and transportation of Ration Rice.

In Tamil Nadu, Ration Rice was supplied at Rs.1/- per Kg. by the previous DMK Government and now at free of cost by the present AIADMK Government to about 1.82 crore card holders, which includes middle income and higher income groups. This is  because, the income of the card holders was taken based on the income they earned several years back.  On account of it, more than 50% of the card holders don't receive their quota of rice.  25% of the card holders,who receive their quota of rice, don't use it for the  purpose  for which it is supplied.  The real beneficiary is only 25% .  Most of the rice are reported to be sold at Rs.5/- per Kg. in the open market from the Ration Shops.  Any one can get any amount of rice at this rate. The rice purchased illegally are reported to be  transported to Kerala and Andra Predesh at a higher rate of  Rs.15/- to Rs.20/- per Kg. We can see the illegal sale and transport of rice in the Newspaper daily.

    Every year, Tamil Nadu Government is  spending about Rs.4,500/- crores towards Rice subsidy.  If the present income of the card holders are collected and new ration card issued based on it next year,  free rice can be supplied only to the needy.  If it is done, major portion of the subsidy amount will be saved and the amount can be utilized for some other useful purposes,  since  the financial position of the Tamil Nadu Government is very critical due to the mismanagement  of the previous Government. I hope, the Tamil Nadu Government will do this.                                         
 



























































 
                                                                                                                        

தமிழக மின்வெட்டு

கடந்த தி.மு.க. ஆட்சியில்  அனுபவித்த மின்வெட்டில் இருந்து , ஆட்சி மாற்றத்   துக்குப்பிறகு , புதிய ஆட்சியில் , முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா வின் நிர்வாகத்திறமையால் தமிழ்நாட்டுக்கு  விடிவு பிறக்கும் என்று நம்பியிருந்தோம். ஆனால்  நிலைமை இன்னும் மோசமானதுதான் கண்ட பலன்.  இந்த நிலைக்கு முழுக்காரணம் இவர் இல்லை என்றாலும் , மின்வெட்டிலிருந்து நிவாரணம் அளிக்க என்ன நடவடிக்கை எடுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார் என்பது நமக்குத்தெரியாது. மின்தேவை குறைவாக உள்ள இந்த நேரத்திலேயே புறநகர் பகுதிகளில் 5 மணி நேரத்துக்குமேல் மின்வெட்டு உள்ளது. இன்னும் இரண்டு      மா தங்களில் கோடை பிறந்துவிடும் என்பதை நினைத்தாலே பயமாக இருக்கின்றது. இந்நிலையில் ஆகஸ்ட் மாதத்துக்குள் மின்வெட்டு முழுமையாக நீக்கப்படும் என்று தெரிவித்திருக்கிறார். அது எவ்வாறு சாத்தியம் என்பதுதான் தெரியவில்லை. ஏனென்றால் இவர் மனது வைத்தல் உடனடியாக சாத்திய மாகக்கூடிய கூடங்குளம் அணுமின்நிலைய உற்பத்தி , மத்திய அரசுடனான பிணக்கு காரணமாக அவர்களுக்கு நெருக்கடி கொடுப்பதாக நினைத்துக்கொண்டு , அவருக்கு வாக்களித்த தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்களுக்குத்தான் நெருக்கடி கொடுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார். இது தொடர்பாக பலரும் பலவிதமாக எடுத்துச்சொல்லியும் வாளாவிருப்பது முதல்வருக்கு அழகல்ல. 925 MV விரைவில் கிடைப்பதற்கான சாத்தியக்கூறு இருந்தும்,அதைப்பற்றி சிறிதும் கவலைப்படாமல் தனக்கு சம்பந்தமே இல்லாததுபோல இருப்பது சரியல்ல. இவர் தனது ஈகோ வை ஒதுக்கிவைத்துவிட்டு விரைவில் கூடங்குளம் அணுமின்நிலையம் செயல்பட உடனடியாக நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கவேண்டும். அத்துடன் அப்பாவி மக்களை தூண்டிவிட்டு தேவையில்லாத பிரச்சனையை உருவாக்கிவரும் உதயகுமார் போன்றவார்களின்மீது கடுமையான நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கவேண்டும். 

The fate of Lokpal.

Almost all Political Parties, except Sivasena, were saying that they were very much interested to get a strong Lokpal Bill passed in Parliament.  The Congress, which is leading a worst ever corrupt
government at the Center,also said that it was their desire to present and pass a strong Lokpal Bill. But,on the other hand , a weak Lokpal Bill was presented and blamed other political parties, particularly the BJP,  not cooperating to pass the Bill. All  Political parties and the public want the CBI to be kept
out of the control of the Government to make it function independently. But, the Congress is not ready for it.  Without doing so, the bill, even if passed in the Budget Session, will not be a Lokpal, but a weakpal. Further, other political parties are also not interested to get the Bill passed, as it will affect their freedom of practicing corruption. So, we cannot even dream of a corrupt free India.
